During my 45 years of development as an artist my medium choices have continued to evolve. In the 80′s I blended india ink with chalk pastels which later changed to colored pencils. This image marks the first time in decades that I have reintroduced chalk pastels. I bought myself a set of Rembrandt chalk pastels and used the same technique of applying the chalk with a dry brush.
